She's way off! Babies who are eating "baby food" are getting most of their nutrition from formula or breastmilk! Since I'm guessing she's not drinking that as well, she's in trouble.

She's way off and there is nothing "nutriotionally sound" about Gerber baby food. It is full of added sugar and salt as well as water.

My mother in law told me that the "baby food diet" is a reall 1; good way to lose the weight, but I think it would be okay...im actually going to try it

Pureed food is still food. However she would have to eat an adult quantity. Edited to add: Look I'm no fan of gerber -I never buy it or use it. But its not any worse than slimfast, lean cuisine, etc.

What would be wrong with it, i dont know about the brand, but wouldn't you eat something if you knew it was good enough for your baby? its still food, and in most cases it probably bett 01;r than most things adults eat as it is not full of the cr*p. to me it kinda sounds ligical... teamed with a multivitamin... although she coud just puree her own veges and it would have the same effect, but thats beside the point

I remember my teacher doing that back in the 80's. It was a big fad back then.
